Free Ebook Download of Jeff Kinney's The Diary of a Wimpy Kid

The first thing that catches my attention about this one is the sketches and doodles on the pages of the book. The  story starts in middle school and the boy narrates his day-to-day experience about it. This maybe ideal for children ages 9 and up. The little ones might not get the whole story.

This book became a bestseller that's why this 2010, they made it a movie. I watched it last night and I still laugh when it comes to their punchlines. Zooey Momma!

Free Ebook Download of Mitch Albom's Have a Little Faith

"If we tend to the things that are important in life, if we are right with those we love, and behave in line with our faith, our lives will not be cursed with the aching throb of unfulfilled business. Our words will always be sincere, our embraces will be tight. We will never wallow in the agony of ‘I could have, I should have’. We can sleep in a storm. And when its time, our goodbyes will be complete."
 Mitch Albom

If you love this quote, then Have a Little Faith is the book for you. Just like his two previous books that I've read, Tuesdays with Morrie and 5 People you Meet in Heaven, Mitch Albom never fail to inspire me. Every word that he writes comes from the heart and the readers could feel it.

Free Ebook Download of Paulo Coelho's Brida

This book was written sometime between 1990's, right after he wrote The Alchemist but it was only translated maybe two or three years ago.

Just like his other books, Coelho has many profound and inspirational quotes here. But the main gist of his novels  are always the same thing..."Know thyself".

One conversation that Brida had, that struck me the most is this "But how will I know who my Soulmate is?” Brida felt that this was one of the most important questions she had ever asked in her life.

By taking risks’ she said to Brida. ‘ By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in you search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end."

Free Ebook Download of Nicholas Sparks' The Last Song

There is a growing trend of movies based on books.  I personally like to read the book first before watching the movie. I love to read books because I can freely imagine the characters and the scenes while when watching the movie, I see the story as it is.

I have always been a fan of Nicholas Sparks and The Last Song is slowly becoming one of my favorites of his works. I will be waiting to watch the movie version but for the meantime for those of you who haven't read the book yet, here's a link where you could get one:  http://www.sharewareebooks.com/eBooks/Fiction/The_Last_Song

Free Ebook Download of Stieg Larsson's The Girl Who Played with Fire

One of the gripiping stories that you would definitely stay up all night to read. I just regret that I haven't read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo first. It is the first book of the trilogy. The Girl who Played with Fire is the second one. This novel has a very complex plot that you wouldn't be bored reading it. There are a lot of characters to remember but the author made it in such a way that you still connect with each character and you wouldn't get lost.

Free Ebook Download of Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love

Buy from Amazon.com

Before you head out to watch the movie Eat, Pray, Love I suggest you read the book first. There's nothing more beautiful than reading the book first before watching the movie.  That way you'll be able to compare if the director did justice to this beautiful book that Ms. Elizabeth Gilbert wrote.

One beautiful quote that I remember about this book is "People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. "

She has a very profound way of explaining things. Both her and Coelho are my favorites.

Free Ebook Download of Lisa Beth Kovetz Tuesday Erotica Club

Another book that I've recently finished reading. Being married widened my taste for books and this one, I really find amusing and entertaining. A woman in mid-twenties or thirties should definitely read this. I'm looking forward on reading her next novel "Lux's Practical Erotica Adventure: A Tuesday Erotica Club Novel " I'm sure this one also has a lot of laughs and heartwarming lines.

From Booklist

What started out as a literary club composed of 40 law-firm employees who met at lunchtime to share their attempts at writing has devolved into four women who write erotica. Aimee created the group to take her mind off the fact that she's pregnant and her husband is increasingly absent. Lux, a young secretary working her way out of her degenerate neighborhood, uses the club as a way to learn from the other women. Brooke attends in support of her friend Aimee, works part-time at the firm, paints, and has had the same boyfriend for 20 years. At 50, Margot is successful but realizes that she has no female friends. Four very different women, who at first seem to have nothing in common, grow closer as each week passes--not that their relationships don't have problems--but therein lies the fun of reading Kovetz's sometimes raunchy but always entertaining account of four strong characters who become friends and, in the end, much more. Maria Hatton

Free Ebook Download of Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones

This is a highly recommended suspense book from my cousin. I couldn't bear to finish it at first because child abuse or abduction really scares the hell out of me but this book is not all about that horrid stuff that happens when a child is killed.  It was about Susie and her longing to be with her family still even life after death...She is stuck in the in-between world, watching over her killer, her family and her childhood crush.

The narrations are very very touching...I hope you'll love this book as much as we (my cousin and I) do.

Free Ebook Download of Stephanie Meyer's The Host

Come join me as we both read a love triangle story of some sort...

To be honest, I'm not really a fan of Stephanie Meyer's works but since it is the most current and talked about books right now, I've read it and yes, at some point I enjoyed it and had a few laughs about it with some friends.  So here I am again reading another book from Stephanie and I hope this time, I'll be impressed or somehow be convinced with her storytelling prowess.

If you want to read along with me...here's the link: http://kewlshare.com/dl/809f4afc10fe/The_Host_by_Stephenie_Meyer.rar.html

Free Ebook Download of Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol

Robert Langdon is back again and this time with a new and exciting adventure which focuses on the Mason and the Bible.

I like reading Dan Brown's books because unlike other readers who take his books literally and figuratively, I just read it for the fun of it. I know that it is purely fiction and nothing more. I love conspiracy theories that's why I'm hooked with his books.  I like the thrill that I get when I'm reading one of his works because the way he writes, he takes me into a wonderful journey through time and places that I'm only dreaming to go to.

I just can't stop reading The Lost Symbol as soon as I started on the first few pages and in two days time, I finished it and it was one hell of a ride.

Holla to all the Bookworms out there

Reading has always been a passion for me since time immemorial.  I remember me and my cousins would stay at our room and just read books and swap stories. The whole day would pass by without us leaving our favorite spot, curled up whilst reading a book.

That habit of constantly reading never ceased and now it has morphed into a high-tech form...Ebooks.  They are very convenient since I work mostly online and I can access the internet 24/7 plus here in the province, rarely can we find good books to read.  The only decent bookstore here is Book Sale and I have to scour the shelves just to find a few decent titles. Although ebooks are the in thing right now and the most convenient way to read my favorite books, I still won't give up my love for reading real/tangible books.  I love the smell of the pages of a new book and plus I love to collect them.

I'll be sharing with you guys the books that I have read or will read and hope we could share our opinions about it...
